The Del Ray School of Music was founded in 2000 and over the past 23 years has become a staple on Mount Vernon  Avenue.  We are Alexandria’s all genre inclusive music conservatory . We offer a variety of music lessons to students ranging in age from children to adults offering lessons at all levels of expertise from absolute beginner to master level studies.  
Our staff of top notch educators respetfully offers lesson for guitar, piano, drums, percussion, violin, viola, cello, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, flute, clarinet, saxophone,voice, music composition and other instruments. 
The school offers a wide array of group and band classes including  the oldest running Rock Band programs in Northern Virginia. 
For younger children we offer our widely acclaimed Munchkin & Me ages 1 - 3 and Munchkin Rock ages 4 - 7 programs.
