Max Fisher, is a multi instrumentalist with over 23 years of experience.  Highlights of his teaching career including being a personal instructor to 22 time Grammy nominated award winner India Aire, to teaching Marian Hill.  He also held the position of Music Director at the Actors Center of Philadelphia.  A guitar teacher at the Philadelphia School; as well as, private instruction to students all over the Washington, DC, New York, and Philadelphia metropolitan areas.  Max loves to teach, and finds it to be very rewarding.  Max studied with Rodney Jones, Classical guitar with Regis Ferruzza, and at the New School for Jazz Conservatory.   

As a performer Max is known for his performances with the Max Fisher Group, where he is a composer, guitarist and vocalist.  He has performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the White House,  the 9:30 club, in the DMV.  As performing has been a essential part of his life it would seem only fitting that he has performed with many well known artist.   Some of his multi-instrumental features include; playing bass for India Arie, drums for Sting, saxophonist for B.B King.  Max is an award winning song writer in 2011 he won the ASCAP Jay Gorne Writers Award.  

Max Fisher, is bilingual in English and Russian, during his free time he likes to spend time with his family, and  friends.  He enjoys the practice of martial arts and  mentoring and coaching people.
