OUR BACKGROUND

The Del Ray School of Music was founded in 2000 and over the past 18 years has become a staple on the Avenue.  We are Alexandria’s all genre inclusive music conservatory . We offer a variety of music lessons to students ranging in age from children to adults offering lessons at all levels of expertise from absolute beginner to master level studies.  
Our staff of top notch educators respetfully offers lessons on basically all instruments, guitar, piano, drums, percussion, violin, viola, cello, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, flute, clarinet, saxophone,  We also offer vocal lessons, song writing and composition intensives or trainings. 
The school’s  group classes include the oldest running School for Rock program in Northern Virginia and group acoustic guitar classes. 
For younger children our Munchkin and ME (1 - 3 a parent child program ) and Munchkin Rock (4 - 7)
